Saddle Peak in North Andaman is the highest point in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, standing tall at about 732 meters above sea level. Located within the Saddle Peak National Park near Diglipur, this peak is a paradise for trekkers and nature lovers. The trail leading to the top passes through dense tropical forests, rare plant species, streams, and rich wildlife, making the trek both challenging and rewarding. From the summit, visitors are treated to panoramic views of the Andaman Sea, surrounding islands, and lush green landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. On clear days, the sight is truly breathtaking. The trek to Saddle Peak usually takes 5 to 6 hours and is best suited for adventure seekers who enjoy exploring untouched nature.
